Does anyone know anything about the herb feverfew?

I am interested in taking this herb for my migraines. Is it available to buy at a health food store? Does it work? Is it dangerous? Are there side effects? Can you use it with other meds? How much do you start taking? Dose??

Feverfew has been used by a number of my friends and most have had a reduction in their headaches. You can buy it at any store that sells herbs, even Wal-mart carries it so you don't need to find a health food store. Start out taking one capsule three times a day for at least a month. If you don't have any headaches in that time, try reducing to two capsules a day and then after a month reduce to one a day. If at any time you get a headache, go back to the previous dose as that will be your maintenance dose. Most seem to need the three a day, but several did well on just two a day. I'm not aware of any side effects and don't believe it to be dangerous. Please do some internet research if you are on any other medications to check for any interactions between Feverfew and prescription medications or any other herbs. Hope this helps.
