Why does rice milk have a warning for kids under 5?
The side label on rice milk says to consult with doctor before giving to kids under 5. Anyone know why?
My son is lactose intolerant and noone in the family liked the Soy Milk so we switched to rice. My son is 2 and my daughter is 4.
Rice milk isn't nutritionally complete. Although heavily fortified it still lacks proteins, calcium and fats essential to healthy growth and development.
